Maritime Alliance Co., Ltd., led by Ms. Thanyaphat Phattharakasemsi (Khun Noi) together with the team, donated 1,000 bags of rice to Setthasathian School under Royal Patronage (Thailand’s first school for the deaf), as part of helping and sharing opportunities so that the children can grow up with a good quality of life.
Setthasathian School under Royal Patronage is a public school under the Office of Special Education Administration, Office of the Basic Education Commission, Ministry of Education. It grew out of an experimental unit teaching deaf students at Municipal School 17 (Wat Sommanat Worawihan) in Bangkok, and provides education specifically for students with hearing impairments. Founded on 10 December 1951, it is the first school for the deaf in Thailand to receive royal patronage.
In addition to the rice donation to Setthasathian School, with the Covid-19 situation over the past several years — and new waves still coming — along with various natural disasters causing ongoing hardship for almost every household in Thailand, Maritime Alliance Co., Ltd. has also handed out more than 10,000 bags of rice to help people in need across every region.
