On 8 January 2022, a team led by Ms. Thanyaphat Phattharakasemsi (Khun Noi), Managing Director of Maritime Alliance Co., Ltd., joined hands with Redemptorist Education School (Phra Mahathai Suksa) to give back to society by donating two ambulances, together with some supplies, to the Ruam Duay Chuay Kan volunteer group and Dr. Somchai Siritheptongklod — a volunteer doctor who has helped people in remote areas across every region of Thailand through countless good projects.
The main purpose of this donation was Khun Noi’s wish to help underprivileged people in remote communities in the north gain better access to quality medical care, and to give the Ruam Duay Chuay Kan volunteers reliable vehicles to bring patients to treatment in time, as well as to deliver everyday essentials such as food and medicine to people in many different areas.
Beyond this project, Maritime Alliance Co., Ltd. has also run other giving initiatives, such as donating rice to temples in need, donating tents to evacuees, and handing out relief bags to people affected by disasters, including Covid-19.
